Ad Tech Ad Tech - News Adform Plans to Enter the North American Market After Acquiring $21.5 Million in Funding

Adform, a Danish advertising technology company with robust presence across the European market, has formulated plans to enter the US and Canadian markets following its recent closure of a $21.5 million funding round. As the first step in the company’s expansion plan, Adform has already appointed Julian Baring as GM of its North American business.
Baring said in a release, “The US seems vast, but for a company that’s accustomed to the local irregularities of France, Germany, Norway, Spain and so on, advertising across Arizona, New York, Oklahoma, etc., is actually a much more homogenous market to approach.”
Baring, who was recruited in August last year, will be responsible for establishing Adform’s operations in both US and Canada. For establishing itself in the North American market, the Danish ad technology company intends to focus especially on telecom and financial services companies, and similar industries with high regulatory standards.
Adform has also announced that it would facilitate interoperability in order to offer the flexibility that some of the industry giants do not provide. It will allow its American customers to obtain data from its solution and apply it on other platforms.
