A rising star hand-in-hand with a proven star delivers a kick to your playlists.

As part of TDC’s new campaign “Mit TDC” (My TDC) both known and unknown Danes show how they use their TDC products.

For the online campaign, the well-known hip-hop artist L.O.C. features in a 50-second video. The idea is to catch users on their regular visits to MSN.dk. A compelling performance, both in design and realisation, attracts their attention and captures their interest.

This ad makes use of Sidekick, one of the IAB Rising Stars, which, on user interaction, scrolls the website across and opens an interactive video.  Users can watch and listen to the video, which is the hit track from L.O.C.’s new album Prestige, Paranoia, Persona Vol. 1. The interaction also lets the user download the whole album free from TDC's platforms.

 
The Sidekick ads are a great synergetic complement to the TV spots running at the same time. This solution allows TDC to capture online users when they get their daily dose of news and gossip, which many young people see as one of life’s necessities.


Using Sidekick to hit the target group with both video and music really raises performance, which the numbers from the campaign readily prove. L.O.C.’s new album has been downloaded by 235,000 Danes from TDC´s platforms.
